Had a productive August, even though it didn't really feel like it. There's still a weird uncomfortableness in the back of my mind thinking I could have accomplished more, but I did a fair amount regardless. It was more consuming than creating, but everything helps in the long run.
Books: 4/2 - The Cocktail Lab by Tony Conigliaro; Three Sheets to the WInd by Pete Brown; The man With the Golden Typewriter edited by Fergus Fleming; Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman by Richard Feynman.
Films: 15/7 - Secret Life of Walter Mitty; Snowden; Kubo & The 2 Strings; The Nice Guys; Fantastic Beasts; Snatched; Colossal; Step Brothers; Logan Lucky; The Incredible Jessica James; Allied; Equilibrium; The Dark Tower; Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
Other: Didn't do much travelling (prepping for an exciting announcement next month); started writing more jokes again and have finally started to book some shows; faded from my obsession over finishing the five year long EP, though, I will still complete it. Someday. ...Overall, I did more than I remember doing. Need to continue the momentum into September!
Let me know what you read or saw, where you've been or what you did. I find petty jealousy to be the best fuel for the competitive person.
